Meaning the Motivator
Strong, thriving high performance culture, whether at the team or the organisational levels, begins with a united goal. This goal needs to align into the everyday aspects of the work (processes) the sub systems are doing, all aligned to achieve the organisational output as a whole unit.
This means that the meaningful goals, the ‘whys’ at the team or individual levels, must meaningfully align into the greater organisational goal context.
This is the reason for organisational mission statements. However too often most people in an organisation have no idea what their organisational mission is and/or do not consciously consider how this aligns with their goals at the individual and team levels.
